These providers are permitted to use information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect against fraud, in response to lawful legal process, in connection with professional peer review or regulatory requirements, or in connection with a potential sale, merger, or succession of our practice subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We do not sell or disclose our client list or client information to outside companies for their own marketing or solicitation purposes.

SMS and Text Messaging

Jeff Pinkney CPA, Inc. may use SMS text messaging to send appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, scheduling information, and other service-related communications to clients who have agreed to receive such messages.

SMS Opt-In

Clients may opt in to SMS communications by providing a mobile telephone number and affirmatively agreeing to receive text messages from Jeff Pinkney CPA, Inc., including when scheduling an appointment by telephone or in person.

Consent to receive SMS messages is voluntary and is not a condition of receiving tax, accounting, or other professional services from Jeff Pinkney CPA, Inc.

We use mobile numbers and SMS consent information only for communications associated with our firm's services and the messaging program for which consent was provided.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We may use communications and technology service providers solely as necessary to transmit or administer SMS messages on our behalf. Such providers are not authorized to use your mobile information or messaging consent for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies depending upon your appointments and communications with our office. Clients will generally receive messages associated with scheduled appointments or other requested service-related communications.

Message and data rates may apply depending upon your mobile telephone plan and carrier.

SMS Opt-Out

You may withdraw your consent to receive text messages at any time by replying STOP to a message from us.

After an opt-out request is processed, you will no longer receive SMS messages from that messaging program unless you subsequently provide consent to receive messages again.

Opting out of SMS messages does not affect your ability to receive services from Jeff Pinkney CPA, Inc. We may continue to communicate with you through other appropriate methods.
